Events such as conferences, seminars, summits and symposia remain the most popular way for information to be shared with a wider audience. iCUHTec support local, regional, national and international events with suggestions for speakers, including its Director, Dr Kevin Doughty.

Generally, participation in these events attracts an appearance fee (and sometimes an additional preparation fee) as well as expenses such as rail fares, taxis and accommodation, but some conferences may be supported pro bono.
